Please join the Oakland Chinatown Chamber Foundation for the China Earthquake Vigil on Monday, June 2 from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm at the Oakland Asian Cultural Center located at 388-9th Street, Suite 290, Oakland. Congresswoman Barbara Lee and Councilmember Henry Chang will be speaking on the impact of the China earthquake and discuss what you can do to prepare for a disaster.
The China Earthquake Relief Effort is supported by State Senate President Pro Tem Don Perata, State Assemblyman Sandre Swanson, County Supervisor Alice Lai-Bitker and many community organizations. We look forward to seeing you on Monday!
