Stan Kiang has been involved with the OCA East Bay Chapter since its inception in 1987. He is an advocate for the Asian American community and is actively involved in many community related activities in and around his hometown of Oakland. Stan currently serves on the Treasury Oversight Committee for Alameda County, as a Director of the Oakland Chinatown Chamber of Commerce, and also serves as a Director at Metropolitan Bank in Oakland.
Professionally, Stan works as a Portfolio Manager for BlackRock focused on emerging market equities for institutional clients. Prior to joining BlackRock, Stan worked in equity sales, corporate development, equity research, investment banking, and consulting capacities for Barclays, JPMorgan Chase, Banc of America Securities, and FactSet, respectively. Stan received a BA in Economics from St. Mary's College, holds the NASD Series 3, 7 and 63 licenses and earned his Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation through the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
